The Northwest Avalanche Center will issue its last regular avalanche forecast Sunday 4/24. They will continue to issue special avalanche statements if conditions become unusually severe. Maybe a local outdoor retailer will pay for them to stay open like Backcountry.com did when the Utah Avalanche Center tried to close earlier this month. Let’s see, maybe REI? Yeah, right.
